Dan Kelleher is a freelance creative director/writer based in New York City. Prior to freelancing, Dan was the Chief Creative Officer of Deutsch NY for five years where he built an award winning creative department while helping grow the agency with new business wins such as Reebok, Budweiser and Busch.

Dan’s work has won every major award for creativity and effectiveness, and has seeped into pop culture. The best shout out he ever received was when President Bill Clinton was speaking at Cannes and said that Dan’s DIRECTV campaign was, “The most hilarious ads I’ve ever seen.” Thank you, Mr. President!

While working on brands such as DIRECTV, BMW, FedEx, Snickers, Beautyrest, Galderma, General Mills, and Keds, Dan has worn two hats. One, as a writer, striving to always create the most impactful, fresh and memorable work possible. And two, as a leader, mentoring and helping creatives to do the best work they are capable of.

When Dan is not working, you can find him coaching his son’s flag football team, building speakers in his garage, and driving his media mogul wife, Kim, crazy.
